If your Microphone Kit isn’t connecting to your smartphone or tablet, follow these steps:

Check if you are logged into the Speaksee app with the correct email address used during registration.

Check the colors on the Microphone Kit:

If the kit blinks green, it means the Microphone Kit is searching for a device to connect to.

Press 'Start Captioning':

The microphone should be solid green.

The lights on the kit turn blue when connected via Bluetooth, and green when connected via WiFi.

Check if the kit is already paired with another device:

Unpair the kit:

For Android: Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Remove Pairing.

For iOS: Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Tap the name of the Microphone Kit and select 'Forget This Device'.

Check the connection mode:

Switch between WiFi and Bluetooth.

Try changing the connection mode by pressing the button on the charging station twice for 1 second.

Still not resolved?

Remove the app.

Disconnect the Bluetooth or WiFi connection.

Log back in and create a new connection.
